We stayed in the Blau Apartments in May 2011, this is important to note because all hotels/Apts look their best at the start of the season.
Blau Apartment are situated on the main 'club' and 'disco' street in Lloret de mar less than 100 metres from the beach. We had an apartment on the front of the building and expected it to be noisy, it wasn't, at least not from the clubs, but groups of youngsters shouting in the early hours in the street were loud, but live and let live, it wasn't really a problem and sitting on the balcony watching the action was good fun. There is a decent area to sunbathe on the roof with a very small pool.
The apartments were clean, we had a one bedroom apt suitable for 4 people and I must say it would be a real struggle to fit 4 adults into the space, the bathroom was large enough and the tiny kitchen was good enough to make a cup of tea etc, there were only 4 knives, 4 forks etc..do count them because you get an inventory of fittings and it has to match when you leave to get your deposit back. The reception staff were friendly and helpful but please note this was the start of the season, I have been in Lloret in August when these apartments have been full of youths shouting and partying on the balconies, very loudly
Would we stay in Blau Apartments again?..yes but only at the start of the season and I would not recommend it to anyone travelling with children...Maggie Vinall
